Dear Reader,

Welcome to Maxie’s Shed, I’m so excited to share my first album with you and introduce you to the worlds I love to create with music. This project takes place entirely in one night and follows the winding path of grief down your steps, to the backdoor, over the grass and through the hole in the back of your shed.

I was very inspired by the analog horror people create on the internet as well as musicians like Quadeca, Brakence, Caroline Polacheck and Ethel Cain. But being so new to music and using the intro version of Ableton, I was able to create my own sound and identity through this album

I spent three years to the day working on this album, I learned how to sing, produce, compose, mix, master and get my friends involved in this project. It’s so near and dear to my heart, it’s like a small capture of my adolescence, so I sincerely hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for supporting and being here, it truly means the world to me that you enjoy the world I create. I have so much more coming soon <3
